Unproduced Kit-Bashed First Shot Vader - Kenner Internal Prototype
This is an amazing, one of a kind First Shot prototoype.  It's most notable (obvious) feature is the use of the first shot C3-PO arms and legs. The torso and head and shot in black, while the limbs are hand painted. There still remains a fair of amount of excess plastic (or flashing) left over on the torso as seen on the left and right sides.

It is unclear what this piece was created for.  My
theory is that this figure was created to give the
figure a slightly different look, or sitting position for use in Kenner photography.  (Then again it
could have been created by a bored Kenner
designer and came up with a Franken-Vader.)
Possibly for use for with vehicles or similar shots were the saber arm wasn't needed, or was too long to fit in the shot.

I think it is clear that the C3PO arms were used
specfically as they closely resemble the Darth Vader arms, with the larger shoulder armor, (sans cape).

I think this is another great example behind the history and development of the Star Wars line.
This is certainly one of my favorite pieces.
