Unproduced Beanie (Buddy) Darth Vader
Yes, even the Star Wars line fell victim to
the passing rage known as the "Beanie
Baby Scourge". :)
With my personal hopes that Darth Vader
wouldn't be a logical choice for a soft, cuddly
beanie baby, there were attemps at creating one however.
This example is a one-off, hand made conceptual piece, which features chest and belt decals for the detail. Similar to the 12"
plush Vader, the various costume and armor
pieces were individually made, and sewn on
as details. Even with an example as small as
this, it is still amazing to see how much work
and time went into creating it.
